Sunday Schedule
"The typical Sunday"
(actually, there are no typical Sundays at Wooden Cross, but here are some of the things you can expect)

Early Service - 8:00 am PDF Print
For those wanting a jump on the day, we have the early worship service. If you like smaller groups, this is the time for you. While attendance is less at this service, nothing is missing from worship. The worship service is traditional, but casual. We use our new Evangelical Lutheran Worship book and sing all the great hymns you learned as a kid. Holy Communion is served at every service and we even have a little fellowship event with great Lutheran coffee following the service.

Sunday School - 9:15 am to 10:15am PDF Print

Sunday School – 9:15am to 10:15am
Sunday School is for students of all ages.

Youth
Adults
1st – 6th grade students meet in our new Jeff Brady Education Wing.  Jr. and Sr. High students meet in the Youth Room for Bible study, discussion and, once a month, do a Sunday morning service project. For the adults, it’s generally a very informative experience, with leader moderated lectures and/or discussions about how our faith and the Bible could effect our lives. Adults meet for Bible study.  In the Spring we will be studying Understanding Fundamentalism and Creation Care.  Please join us.

Second Service - 10:30 to 11:30 PDF Print
The second service is very similar to the Early Service (traditional worship, Holy Communion, organ music), but it also includes a performance by the Adult Choir and a message for the children.

Fellowship Time - 11:30 to whenever PDF Print
We drink coffee and eat goodies all morning long (it’s a Lutheran thing). We meet in the Narthex following the first service and in the Fellowship Hall after the second service. It is a wonderful time to catch up with friends and meet new people or talk to the pastor. We think it is the best part of the morning. Don’t miss it!
