Music
Wooden Cross Music Ministry PDF Print

Last month we were given a glimpse into the various ways the Worship and Music Committee functions within the well-oiled church service; especially on how music is such an integral part of our worship experience.

Sue Viebrock directs the Children’s Choir.  She manages to encourage the children to respond with great enthusiasm.  They sing and use hand and body motions to give life to their words. In their own way, they bring a form of liturgical dance into our worship experience.

Leslie Gilbertson directs the Youth Band. She and the youth bring energy to worship as they lead with their voices and instruments.

Dennis Kruse directs the Adult Choir. He inspires our small choir to sound so great, encouraging all with a “yes, we can” attitude!   Just think how it would sound with your voice sharing in the gift of music.

Malia Johnson shares her musical talent as director of the Hand Bell Choir.  The harmonious ringing resonates beautifully during service.  This group is an excellent example of how the youth can participate along with adults in sharing of musical gifts.

Seung Lee has extraordinary musical talent on both the organ and piano.  Her musical gifts unite the choirs and congregation in song.

Congregational members of all ages, from small children up through adults, have a place in worship through music.  Come and add to the rich experience of our worship together by participating in any of the musical opportunities listed.
