Emergency Feeding Program

Several times throughout the year, the Social Ministry Committee collects food for the Emergency Feeding Program of Seattle and King County which distributes food to local families in need, especially during the holidays and summer months when the end of the school year also means the end of subsidized lunches for many children.   Social Ministry provides large recycled brown paper bags or reusable bags with EFP labels, listing the needed foods.  Bags are then filled and returned with the requested EFP food items.  Watch the newsletters for upcoming collections.
