Acorn Montessori is a small school housed at Wooden Cross.  Director Yasmin Virjee provides her students with a warm and nurturing environment where children develop a love of learning through literature, music, reading, writing, mathematics, science and geography.

The school accepts children ages 2 ½ - 6 years. It offers both a morning program and an afternoon program.  The morning program is for all children from 8:50 AM to 12:00 NOON.  The afternoon time offers a Pre-K, Kindergarten program, as well as an enrichment program for 4 -6 year olds from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM.

Children are guided and directed in their work by a trained Montessori Teacher with a strong academic background in Education.  She is always ready to support and also encourage the children, so they can thrive emotionally, physically and academically.

The school is located at Wooden Cross Lutheran Church in Woodinville and is surrounded by nature’s beauty.  Acorn Montessori is a safe environment that provides a rich environment for learning.
